Week 3.

Hair Up - Modern and adding accessories

Part the hair from behind the ears using your pin-tail comb to ensure a clean, neat line. This leave you with three parted sections. Put the section of hair left in the middle into a low ponytail, just sitting above the nape of the neck. Back comb the pony tail so you are able to create a more solid, textured structure with it.

Turn the pony back on itself into a half moon like shape. Secure with a bobby pin on either side. Stretch the shape using a pin to tease it a little and secure. The parted side sections left either side can be styled using products such as wax, dry shampoo, hair serum to help style and pull the hair back. Both sections can be plaited or twisted.

Secure the excess styled hair with grips pulling them across or around the bun (chignon) created earlier. Accessories can now be added to the hair such as flowers, ribbon, bows or headbands
